Last year, Christopher broke his arm and had to miss some training and racing. As luck would have it, the Bayou City Tri Series- Towne Lake Youth Tri (duathlon) was reschedule thanks to Hurricane Harvey, which allowed for enough time for him to heal and race after recovering. At that race, he WON a road bike (big thanks to Tru Tri Sports for the donated bike!). After putting in some hard work, getting comfortable on the road bike, and setting some goals, he tried out for and made the Fury Pre-Elite team. He has been setting and crushing goals left and right, and we are so happy to see his hard work pay off. Bring on the 2018 season! Way to go, Christopher!!!
